Ingredients

  • 6 chicken tenderloins or 2 chicken thigh fillets
  • 6 bamboo skewers
  • 1 tsp salt-reduced soy sauce
  • ½ tsp five spice powder
  • 1 tbsp marmalade
  • 12 button mushrooms
  • Salad, to serve

Methods

  1. Trim tenderloins and cut into bite-sized pieces, or trim and cut thigh fillets into 3 pieces each.
  2. In a bowl mix soy sauce, five spice power and marmalade together. Add chicken pieces and mushrooms.
  3. Thread chicken and mushrooms onto skewers, allowing 2 mushrooms per skewer.
  4. Heat a non-stick frypan over medium heat. Add skewers and cook until chicken is done.
  5. Serve with salad on the side. Enjoy!
